What you will do:
As a (Senior) Operations Manager, you'll own multiple operational domains simultaneously, from energy management to customer support, payments to data analytics and more. No two weeks will look alike.
You’ll take full ownership of how entire charging networks perform, coordinating with partners, ensuring impeccable reliability, and driving an exceptional driver experience. You’ll design the systems, processes, and structures that allow us to scale successfully across Europe and North America. This is a builder role for someone who turns ambition into repeatable blueprints and makes world-class managed charging a reality.
Note: This is not a role for the faint of heart. You’ll be joining a fast-moving team where priorities shift quickly, challenges come without warning, and solutions rarely exist yet. It will demand grit, speed, and relentless ownership.
Your responsibilities will include:

Drive performance of client charger sites: own key operational metrics, analyse faults, manage corrective actions, and enforce SLAs internally and with external partners

Serve as primary operations contact for client accounts, manage relationships, negotiate service expectations, and escalate where necessary

Lead cross-stakeholder coordination for site deployments and maintenance, working with client teams, field service providers, and engineering partners

Work closely with customers to roll out ambitious Energy Management and BESS integration projects, supporting grid optimisation and flexibility initiatives

Develop a partner ecosystem of trusted engineering, installation, and maintenance partners across markets

Support operational readiness for new geographies (e.g., US, Germany, Canada), from customer support coverage to payment compliance, charger configuration and more

Take ownership of unit economics within your operational domains and maintain a laser focus on the scalability and profitability of our offering

Build dashboards, alerts, playbooks, and escalation paths, and create automated tooling so that a small team can efficiently monitor large-scale networks

Use SQL to extract and analyse operational data and derive insights and actions

Drive process standardization, playbooks, escalation protocols, change management, and documentation for consistent operations

Support contract / SLA reviews, monitor contract compliance, and propose operational adjustments

Manage our customer support operations: monitor agent quality and drive continuous improvement alongside AI tooling integration.

Influence tooling, monitoring, and system integrations with internal product teams

Lead client-facing operational reviews, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Other essential qualifications:

5+ years of operations management experience

Strong fluency in SQL, you must be able to query data, explore patterns and validate hypotheses on a daily basis

Demonstrable experience building or scaling operational processes from scratch

Experience with data platforms, familiarity or experience with Databricks is a plus

Solid project management skills, even when managing a dozen initiatives and stakeholders in parallel

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills

Ability to learn new technical & domain topics quickly and lead in unfamiliar areas

Ability to manage ambiguity and shift priorities constantly

Fluent in English, with additional European languages a strong plus
