In this senior leadership role, you will own and scale the operational performance of ABB’s EV charging infrastructure across North America. You will lead a 40+ person organization responsible for charger operations once assets leave the factory, ensuring stable, high-quality, and SLA-driven performance that delivers exceptional customer outcomes and industry-leading uptime at scale. This role is ideal for a hands-on, customer-facing operations leader who thrives in complex, high-availability environments and is energized by building scalable teams, processes, and tools in a fast-growth market.

This role is open for remote or hybrid work in an ABB E-mobility office.

Target Annual Salary Range $150,000- $170,000 + annual bonus 

In this role your main responsibilities will be:

• Own end-to-end charger operations across North America, ensuring high availability, performance, and customer success across ABB’s installed base of EV charging assets.
• Lead and continuously evolve the North American Collaborative Operations Center (COC), delivering best-in-class operational reliability through remote operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and field enablement.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key global and North American customers, acting as a senior operational partner and escalation point.
• Drive operational excellence by improving remote resolution rates, operational efficiency, and consistent adherence to customer SLAs.
• Govern and execute software and firmware update strategies across a large and growing installed base of chargers.
• Establish and mature field quality and performance monitoring capabilities to improve charging success rates and reduce repeat incidents.
• Act as a senior operational interface to Product Management, R&D, Quality, and Field Service teams, translating field insights into scalable product, process, and platform improvements.

To make this work, we are seeking an senior service expert with:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in customer-facing operations, service leadership, engineering, or technical operations environments.
• Proven leadership experience in complex service or operational organizations with high uptime, reliability, and SLA expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate and deliver customer value through operational collaboration, automation, and modern digital or agentic tooling.
• Experience with EV charging infrastructure, digital platforms, energy systems, or other complex technical systems strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and prioritization skills, with the ability to operate effectively at both executive and operational levels.
• Hands-on, self-driven leader with a track record of scaling teams, processes, and performance in fast-growth or transformational environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% across North America.
• Candidates must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB E-mobility in the United States or Canada. International relocation is not available for this position.
