As Channel Account Manager at ABB E-mobility, you will be the architect of that ecosystem in your region. You will recruit, develop, and energize a network of distributors, VARs, and installers who bring ABB E-mobility’s technology to market at scale. This is a commercial role with real entrepreneurial freedom—where your relationship-building instincts, strategic thinking, and drive for results directly shape ABB E-mobility’s growth in one of the most exciting sectors on the planet.
In this role your main accountabilities will be:
- Build a High-Performing Partner Ecosystem – Identify, recruit, onboard, and enable distributors, VARs, solution providers, and installation partners to drive scalable revenue growth and deep market penetration in your region
- Own the Regional Channel Strategy – Develop and execute a structured channel sales plan—including partner segmentation, account planning, and performance management—to consistently exceed revenue and market share targets
- Be a Trusted Partner Advisor – Form long-term, high-trust relationships with key partners by developing compelling joint value propositions, supporting their business growth, and positioning ABB as their preferred EV charging partner
- Drive Pipeline & Performance – Lead structured partner engagement through pipeline reviews, QBRs, management interlocks, and joint action plans—turning activity into predictable, repeatable commercial results
- Enable Partner Success – Deliver channel enablement, product training, and joint marketing initiatives that equip partners to sell, install, and support ABB's charging solutions with confidence
- Translate Market Intelligence into Opportunity – Convert market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights into actionable partner-led strategies—aligning closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Service teams for seamless execution
To make the above work, we are seeking:
- 5–10 years of B2B sales or business development experience, including 3+ years specifically in channel sales with a track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems including distributors, VARs, and installers
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with a history of consistent target overachievement and the ability to evaluate and structure win-win commercial opportunities
- Background in energy, mobility, EV charging, or adjacent technology sectors; a genuine affinity for the energy transition and sustainable mobility is a real advantage
- Sufficient technical knowledge to understand customer and partner requirements, shape value propositions, guide partner conversations, and ensure high-quality channel enablement
- Structured Yet Entrepreneurial – You combine disciplined channel sales governance with an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset—creating predictable results without losing agility
- Fluent in English and German is relevant; proficiency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish is a plus; high willingness to travel within the region
