As the (Senior) Regional Marketing Manager North America you are part of the Global Regional Marketing team within the Marketing & Communications functions at ABB E-mobility.
With Marketing & Communications being established as a centralized function, you will have the opportunity to be part of building and shaping the discipline. You will be a true partner to the Regional Sales teams in North America. We are accountable to—and responsible for—driving enablement, contributing to revenue and relationships with our ecosystem of customers, pro-spects, and partners.
The Regional Marketing Manager for North America plays a pivotal role in converting marketing strategies into successful programs that support the regional sales pipeline and revenue goals. Acting as the primary liaison between the Direct Sales teams and the Marketing & Communica-tions department, you will build alignment to help drive business goals and revenue targets for the region. You will design and execute marketing programs to strengthen brand presence and enhance the sales pipeline and revenue. Additionally, you will develop and implement targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to engage key accounts, utilizing data-driven insights to maximize ROI on marketing activities.
US Target Salary range: $150,000-175,000 USD annual + annual bonus
This role is Hybrid in Charlotte, NC (at least 2 days/week onsite)
In this role, your main accountabilities will be:
• Develop a deep understanding of ABB E-mobility value propositions, customers, and competitive landscape.
• Drive regional marketing plans and high touch marketing activities and programs that generate quality pipeline, move prospects and customers through the sales cycle, and build customer loyalty.
• Craft compelling content and sales enablement materials tailored to region-specific and account specific needs and targets.
• Support the development and deployment of a new global ABM program and associated tools; once deployed, develop and execute ABM campaign strategies, including messag-ing, creatives, channel identification, and performance measurement for optimization.
• Collaborate with marketing operations to build account-level lead nurturing processes and reporting dashboards.
• Assist in establishing key performance indicators (KPI) to track and measure the effec-tiveness of regional marketing campaigns and programs, analyzing results and making data-driven decisions.
• Develop and foster a deep cross-functional partnership within Marketing & Comms and Sales teams. Establishing clear communication, alignment, and trust with these groups will be critical to success.
• Manage the regional marketing budget for North America, ensuring that expenses are within the allocated budget
To make this work, we need a senior leader with:
• University degree in Marketing or Business Administration. Minimum of 8+ years of ex-perience in software or high tech marketing, ideally supporting a B2B direct sales force
• Ability to leverage data and insights in the development of marketing plans.
• Experience with Account Based Marketing strategies, tactics and tools.
• Experience with digital marketing, including paid media and paid social programs.
• Knowledge of marketing automation, digital and social media platforms and SFDC; expe-rience with lead scoring and nurturing methodologies is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and confidence working with key stakeholders from technical, marketing and sales backgrounds.
• Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels.
• The role will be based in Charlotte, NC will report into the Global Head of Regional Mar-keting
• The role requires willingness to travel across North America.
Preferred qualifications for this role include:
• Experience / knowledge in manufacturing and/or field services (nice to have)
• Experience implementing and utilizing ABM software such as Demandbase, Terminus, Triblio, Engagio, 6sense, etc.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clari-ty.
