This role will act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for business stakeholders, helping to design, solution, and deliver SAP capabilities that meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will blend strong functional knowledge in SAP Finance with technical acumen, serving as the bridge between end-users, IT teams, and implementation partners.

In this role your main responsibilities will be:

Customer Engagement & Business Partnership 

  • Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Translate business needs into SAP functional requirements and solution designs. 
  • Act as the go-to advisor for Finance-related SAP topics, providing insights and recommendations. 

Solutioning & Enhancements 

  • Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of new capabilities in SAP Finance. 
  • Drive enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business processes. 
  • Partner with implementation partners to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with best practices. 

Technical Bridge & Delivery Oversight 

  • Serve as the functional/technical liaison between end-users, IT teams, and external SAP partners. 
  • Review functional and technical specifications; ensure developments meet requirements and quality standards. 
  • Coordinate testing activities (UAT, regression, integration) and support go-live readiness. 

Operational Support 

  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Assets, Controlling, Treasury, Tax). 
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, manage escalations, and drive root-cause resolution. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, audit, and security policies.

 

To make this work, we are seeking an SAP expert

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field. 
  • 7+ years of SAP functional experience with a strong focus on Finance (AR, AP, GL, Assets, Controlling, Treasury, Tax). 
  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional/technical designs. 
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA configuration and familiarity with integration points to other modules. 
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors/implementation partners. 

Preferred Skills include:

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance migrations or greenfield implementations. 
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM and Agile delivery practices. 
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools and SAP Fiori apps. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
