As a Service Solutions Specialist, you will support the commercial success of ABB E-mobility service offerings by shaping how service products, such as SLAs and support packages, are structured, priced, and presented to customers.
This is a remote position in Eastern Time Zone, with preference for candidates based in Charlotte Metro area.
Target Salary range for the position is $95,000-105,000 USD annual

In this role your main responsibilities will be:
Product & Commercial Strategy
- Capture insights from Sales, customers, and Operations to support continuous improvement of service products and SLAs.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and maintain a competitive regional service portfolio.
- Maintain and update price books, cost models, and financial assumptions to ensure pricing accuracy and profitability.
Sales Enablement & Deal Support
- Review non-standard customer service product pricing requests and prepare structured summaries and recommendations for executive decision-making.
- Provide Sales and Tendering teams with playbooks, standard terms and conditions, and proposal guidelines.
- Support customer meetings with Sales by explaining service offerings, technical options, and value-added components.
Operational Efficiency
- Ensure all proposals adhere to internal pricing rules, commercial policies, and operational feasibility.
- Maintain accurate service data, product codes, and portfolio documentation to support quoting and invoicing accuracy.
- Analyze service sales performance, win/loss patterns, and forecast data to support strategic improvement.
- Use AI-driven tools and automation to improve data accuracy, accelerate analysis, anenhance consistency across workflows.
To make the above work, we need an ambitious, curious professional with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in service operations, sales support, pricing, product management, or another analytical/commercial function.
- Strong analytical skillset with the ability to interpret data, build cost models, and support pricing decisions.
- Proficiency with Excel; Power BI or Tableau experience is a plus.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve analysis, generate insights, and streamline workflows beyond traditional spreadsheets.
- Ability to understand service contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms with guidance.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical or operational concepts into clear summaries.
- High attention to detail and a structured, process-driven working style.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Tendering, Operations, and Asset Management.
- Proactive mindset with strong learning agility.
