The User Account Manager (UAM) is responsible for managing and supporting user access across ABB E-Mobility’s portfolio of enterprise applications and systems. This role combines account lifecycle management with application support, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration.

The position requires a balance of technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder communication skills. The UAM ensures that users can securely and efficiently leverage IT systems while aligning access with compliance, operational, and business requirements.

 

Target Salary Range: $80,000-98,000 Annual

 

In this role your main accountabilities will be:

  • Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions across enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Provide day-to-day application support related to user access, configuration, and permissions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to resolve access issues, translate business needs into technical requirements, and improve user experience.
  • Maintain and update documentation for account processes, system configurations, and access models.
  • Participate in application onboarding, upgrades, and migrations, validating access and supporting transition activities.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews, reporting, and audits to meet regulatory and security standards.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely and accurate provisioning of accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on integration projects, ensuring access and identity components are addressed.
  • Assist with incident, request, and change management activities in line with ITIL practices.

 

To make the above work, we need a skilled IT professional with:

  • 7–10 years of experience in IT support, application administration, or identity management.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure and application integration, with the ability to troubleshoot across systems and platforms.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, HRIS, or MES applications.
  • Proven ability to work with senior business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Strong documentation, process, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent process-driven IT experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Fieldglass, or other HR/enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting VMware, Intune, or other enterprise management platforms.
