ABB E-mobility is seeking a Product Marketing Segmentation Split Solutions to become a customer evangelist, helping us meet our revenue targets by effectively demonstrating the value of our charging solutions to the market. As the Product Marketing Segmentation Split Solutions at ABB E-mobility, you will play a pivotal role in driving success by strategically positioning and promoting our solutions in our largest market and in our key segments. You will be solutions lead for split offering, liaising with the product managers in EU and NA and own the success of our latest solution lead segment's view.
This senior role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, advanced product knowledge, ability to lead cross-functionally, and apply marketing expertise. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical and able to conduct sophisticated quantitative analyses, while also excelling at synthesizing and telling a captivating story to diverse audiences. Extensive experience managing cross-functional projects is essential. Experience with technology or the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
In this role your main accountabilities will be:
- Digital Transformation: being able to lead a team through digital transformation, with a growth mindset
- Commercial Responsibility: Collaborate with sales and business teams to build solution focused commercial offerings
- Capture Strategy: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and emerging customer needs targeting high-value prospects and driving long-term business development strategies.
- Product Marketing Orchestrator: Own the market specifications of our key segments and sub-segments, supporting product management functions to build the right product
- Customer Evangelism: Disseminate and evangelize our customer insights across the company, ensuring all teams are aligned with our customer-centric approach.
- Strategic Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and segment solution-level narratives that align with our company positioning across our customer segments
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and support our Sales, Marketing, and Product, train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users of our charger solutions and refine messaging and positioning
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new charging solution launches and features, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales enablement.
- Content Strategy: Inform the content roadmap with charger customer insights. Collaborate with our internal Integrated Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across channels and to develop content for events.
To make the above work, we are looking for a senior professional who has a strong understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics. Other essential requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing Engineering, or a related discipline). A Master's degree is a plus.
- 8-12 years of proven experience in product marketing/product management preferably B2B/B2C in a tech/platform capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging
- Demonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content based on previous product launches
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams such as product management, sales, client success, and engineering
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive environmental impact
- We are open for a candidate in Europe who is willing to collaborate with Delft, Netherlands and Valdarno, Italy as ABB E-mobility builds out centers of excellence
