Are you a highly motivated Bachelor or Master student with a passion for Engineering? Are you eager to dive into the world of patents and intellectual property while gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What you will do: 

  • Support our R&D Patent Officer in the day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and inventors to ensure smooth communication and follow-ups.
  • Explore and utilize various IP/Patent tools to enhance your knowledge.
  • Conduct IP novelty, clearance, and infringement searches and analysis.
  • Perform secondary market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Read, analyze, and categorize patents with guidance from the Patent Officer (we'll provide you with relevant IP tools and training!).
  • Gain experience with Power BI and other analytics tools.
  • Take ownership of maintaining critical documentation.

What you will bring: 

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Electronics Engineering; however, candidates from other engineering disciplines will also be considered.
  • You are looking for an internship starting in Jan or Feb 2026 for at least 6 months.
  • You have affinity or experience with Intellectual Property projects or patents.
  • Taking initiative is your strength – you're proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You excel in a professional, tech-driven setting and are comfortable working independently.
  • Strong written & verbal communication in English.

  • University degree: 750 euros gross per month
  • HBO (applied sciences) degree: 650 euros gross per month
  • MBO degree: 500 euros gross per month
