We are looking for a R&D Intern for our Products & Hardware Group, who can assist in testing and building prototypes along with the Lab team.

That sounds cool, doesn’t it? Here are more details on what you can expect:

•    Development of Hardware in loop (HIL) test setups.
•    Development of mechanical prototype, electrical wiring and testing.
•    Development of low-level test automation SW using python. 

 

Of course, all of the above you will do with the support of your fellow team members. You will be part of the Cables and Cooling team, that consists of 5 highly skilled, friendly, and diverse engineers. The team is led by Cables and Cooling Platform Manager, and is based in Delft (The Netherlands).

 

 

To make the above work, we are looking for a fresh graduate or student who is hands-on, flexible, eager to learn, and has an eye for detail. Other essential requirements:

•    Fluent in spoken and written English.  
•    Graduated from MBO in relevant area (Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering).
•    Working knowledge of all three areas (EE, ME, SW) is preferred; on the job learning will be facilitated.
•    Ability to program in Python, basic understanding of C.
•    Able of designing basic HW circuitry for use in prototypes and test setups.
•    Able of reading and creating electrical diagrams and schematics.
•    Basic understanding of mechanical parts and how to create frames, boxes and moving parts.
•    Good knowledge on MS-Office (Excel & Word).

  • University degree: 750 euros gross per month
  • HBO (applied sciences) degree: 650 euros gross per month
  • MBO degree: 500 euros gross per month
