We are looking for a  Senior Electrical Engineer with excellent organizational and technical skills who will provide support to the Project Engineer in the design and development of EV charging solutions. More details on your responsibilities:

• Preparation of electrical designs for EV charging systems based on customer specifications and available documentation
• Breakdown of the electrical architecture of the product into building blocks/modules maximizing the reuse of existing module.
• Selection of devices and components from the market or from the Company’s platform components portfolio, development of diagrams with lists of electrical parts and BOM creation and BOM cost control
• Perform various activities like draw up the electrical circuits, prepare component specifications etc. from project definition to product launch
• Ensure the inter-departmental technical coordination of the project team. Collaborate with the product architect, platform, mechanical, SW and test engineers in the functional integration of the electrical, mechanical, thermal and SW components of the product and in the development of the test plans and test criteria, as well as the verification and validation strategies.
• Supervise the functional and safety tests of the prototypes, analyze the quality and reliability of the solution at the practical and theoretical level and prepare proper test reports. Own the implementation of the corrective action to any non-conformity identified by the test results. 
• Prepare the technical documentation required along the project execution such as, but not limited to, electrical architecture concept, product’s electrical capability calculation and electrical schematics, support the preparation of marketing collateral, manuals and safety instructions.
• Upload and maintain the product technical documentation in the Company Product Life cycle management tool.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers working on other project to find and maximize synergies, communalities and reuse between products and projects.
• Participate to international development projects in an international environment.
• Familiarized with functional and safety industry standards applicable to EVI specifically concerning power conversion and LV switch and control gears.  Familiar with IEC61851, ISO 15118, IEC 63110, IEC 62196.
• Define test cases for design validation and for pre-compliance testing and lead test cases execution, giving guidance to the team to respect deadlines
• Be responsible for the adherence of the assigned development activity to the schedule of the project.

The team you will be part of is the Products & Hardware Platforms Team. This position reports to our Program Manager.

To make the above work, we are looking for a senior professional who is collaborative, solution-oriented, independent, and tech savvy. Other essential requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related technical fields. MSEE preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in the EV charging industry is a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of electronic circuit design and analysis
• Knowledgeable in power conversion and LV switch and control gears standards
• A high level of independence and responsibility for the tasks entrusted
• Problem-solving attitude, process oriented, able to work within deadlines
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach mindset.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
