We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester with Data Analysis expertise to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys ensuring product quality while leveraging data insights to influence decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in testing modern software systems, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.


Key Responsibilities

Software Testing

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and/or automated) based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Participate in requirements reviews and provide testability feedback.
  • Maintain and improve test documentation, test plans, and testing standards.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts (Selenium, etc).

Data Analysis

  • Collect, clean, and analyze datasets to support product quality, performance monitoring, and business decisions.
  • Build dashboards and reports using various tools.
  • Identify testing trends, defect patterns, and root causes using data insights.
  • Work with engineering and product teams to define KPIs and quality metrics.
  • Use SQL/KQL or similar tools to query databases for test validation and analysis.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve system performance, user experience, and overall product quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing (manual or automated).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and present findings clearly.
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or visualization tools (Power BI…).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Experience in Python or R for deeper data analysis or test automation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Understanding of statistical analysis or data modeling.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
