ABB E-mobility is on a transformative journey to become a customer-centric leader in sustainable mobility. We are looking for driven and passionate individuals to join our team. As part of the newly established ABB E-mobility marketing and communications organization, you will help position us as a trusted partner and authority in the electrification of mobility.
We are seeking a Technical Product Marketer to enhance the awareness, understanding, and adoption of our solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating impactful content that highlights the features, functionality, technical specifications, and full solutions of our technology. You will report directly to the Head of Product Marketing and be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content for both technical decision-makers and business audiences. This role is key to ensuring our stakeholders—customers, partners, and internal teams—grasp the full value of our offerings.

 

In this role your main accountabilities will be:

  • Technical Asset Development: Produce high-quality technical marketing collateral such as white papers, solution briefs, product datasheets, case studies, technical presentations, webinars, and videos 
  • Persona Tailoring: Adapt technical content to resonate with both technical decision-makers (e.g., engineers, CTOs) and business personas (e.g., operations managers, executives) 
  • Content Creation: Develop, create, and refine a diverse range of content to support marketing initiatives, including blogs, videos, product guides, and social media campaigns
  • Messaging & Positioning: Craft and optimize messaging that communicates the value of our solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Product Launches: Collaborate with product management and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, launch materials, and enablement tools
  • Market Enablement: Create sales enablement resources, including competitive analyses, FAQs, and training materials
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and compelling representation of our technical capabilities and solutions

 

To make the above work, we are looking for a senior professional who has 7-10 years of experience in technical product marketing, ideally in energy, technology, or software industries. Other essential requirements:   

  • Technical Expertise: Strong ability to understand and communicate the technical aspects of products and systems in a way that meets customer needs and industry standards
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for creating clear, engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing
  • Creativity: Ability to transform complex technical details into compelling, value-driven narratives.
