React Frontend Developer

Are you ready to be at the forefront of innovation in user interface design and web performance? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your code directly shapes how users interact with sustainable technology? Join us in our mission to enable more affordable and efficient EV charging through high-performance, data-driven frontend solutions.

As a React Frontend Developer on our Energy Management Team, you will build intuitive user interfaces and real-time dashboards that allow operators to visualize and manage power distribution across multiple DC chargers, helping drive scalable EV infrastructure. You will work with a modern frontend stack centered around React, TypeScript, and Vite to deliver fast, reliable, and maintainable web applications.

What You’ll Do

Architect & Develop: Design and implement highly responsive web applications using React and modern frontend tooling such as Vite to manage complex energy data.

Data Visualization: Build dynamic, real-time dashboards that translate intricate power-load metrics into clear, actionable insights for users.

State Management: Manage complex client-side state to ensure seamless interaction with live streaming data from EV charging hardware.

User-Centric Design: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to translate business requirements, Figma designs, and prototypes into robust, high-fidelity technical solutions.

Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

Full Lifecycle Contribution: Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from Figma and wireframe translation to component design, testing, and deployment.

Your Background and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Digital Design, or equivalent experience.

Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience dedicated to frontend development, with a proven track record of building complex web applications, preferably in React.

Technical Skills

Core: Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.

Frameworks: Strong experience with React is required. Experience with Vue or Angular is a plus.

Tooling & Workflow: Experience with modern frontend build tools such as Vite and collaboration with design teams using Figma for design handoff, component implementation, and UI consistency.

State & Data: Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit or Context API and consuming RESTful or WebSocket APIs.

Testing: Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

Bonus: Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, or Recharts, containerization with Docker, and experience translating Figma component libraries into reusable React components is a strong advantage.

Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.

Mindset

Analytical and creative approach to problem-solving, with a strong focus on clean code, component reusability, and maintainable architecture.

Passionate about clean technology and driving innovation toward a sustainable future.

Why Join Us?

Impact: Be part of a purpose-driven organization where your UI directly influences the accessibility and efficiency of EV charging.

Innovation: Work with a modern tech stack, including React, TypeScript, Vite, and Figma, to solve unique challenges in real-time energy visualization.

Growth: Grow professionally through continuous learning, leveraging the latest frontend trends to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
