Are you a hands-on HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment? Do you love rolling up your sleeves to make things happen? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

 We are looking for a Local People Partner for Germany and Switzerland, where you will be at the heart of driving local HR activities, supporting our teams, and fueling our growth with top talent. You take ownership of country-specific tasks, be the go-to person for employees, and collaborate with local leaders to make a difference. You’ll also partner closely with our global People Enablement team, ensuring our strategies are locally relevant, while fostering a strong connection to our global vision.

In this role, your main accountabilities will be:

  • Oversee and continuously improve HR processes across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, development, performance, engagement, offboarding), ensuring compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, collective agreements, and harmonization across both countries.
  • Lead and support works council negotiations and consultations, preparing documentation, agreements, and communications, and advising leaders on co-determination requirements and best practices.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of IG Metall tariff structures, regulations, and compensation frameworks to ensure correct interpretation and implementation of collective agreements and country-specific labor requirements.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant handling of cases while supporting leaders in fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

You will collaborate with HR colleagues in different teams and locations, being part of the wider People Enablement Team. This position reports to the Global People Partner.

To make the above work, we are looking for a professional who is independent, solution-oriented and customer centric. Other essential requirements:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law and IG Metall tariff agreements;
  • Demonstrated experience working with works councils, including negotiations and co‑determination processes.
  • Ability and openness to manage complex HR topics with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Enjoying performing the delivery of HR operational tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and comfort working in a fast‑moving environment.
