We're currently looking for Lead Data Analyst to join our Team in Kraków, Poland. In this role, you will be the hands‑on analytics lead and product owner for the analytics team, turning distributed telemetry into operational insights and product features. You will design and operate analytics pipelines, build dashboards and models, and own the product backlog for diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and monitoring capabilities. You will work closely with the data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver measurable improvements in asset performance, service responsiveness, and data efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- design, build, and maintain ETL/streaming pipelines, time series processing, feature engineering, and production dashboards; write production code to validate hypotheses and ship analytics features,
- define structured telemetry schemas, data quality rules, and canonical data models that enable automation and AI reasoning; advocate for signal‑to‑noise principles and data efficiency,
- collaborate with data scientists to productionize anomaly detection, health inference, and predictive maintenance models; validate model outputs and monitor performance,
- translate requirements for hybrid edge–cloud workflows: what runs locally, what is summarized, and what is sent to the cloud; ensure analytics features work across constrained devices and cloud services,
- define monitoring, alerting, and observability for analytics pipelines and models; drive continuous improvement and cost‑efficient data practices,
- own the analytics product backlog, define user stories, prioritize features with clear success metrics, and drive delivery with engineering and data science teams,
- mentor analysts and engineers, promote data discipline, and help the team adopt best practices for reproducibility and deployment.
To make the above work, we are looking for:
- 5+ years in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles with at least 2 years in a product owner or feature‑ownership capacity,
- technical skills: strong SQL/KQL, Python, or Scala; experience with streaming frameworks such as Kafka, Kinesis, or equivalent; familiarity with time series databases and processing,
- hands‑on experience with cloud analytics on Azure, AWS, or GCP including data storage, compute, and orchestration,
- proven experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Grafana, or similar,
- practical knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs and data contract design,
- ability to translate business needs into prioritized, testable analytics features and measurable KPIs,
- strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present technical concepts to business and executive audiences in English.
