We are looking for a CMF Technical Designer to support our design organization and help translate creative CMF concepts into robust, high‑quality, production‑ready solutions. In this role, you will work closely with the CMF Lead and cross‑functional teams, ensuring consistency, feasibility, and excellence across materials, colors, and finishes.

Your Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain color masters, CMF documentation, and the material library
- Define, update, and manage CMF specifications, guidelines, and digital documentation, ensuring clear communication to all stakeholders
- Support CMF feasibility assessments and assist with production rollout
- Champion CMF perceived quality, collaborating with suppliers and engineering teams to resolve appearance‑related challenges
- Support the development and implementation of CMF quality standards for products and components
- Facilitate prototype development, appearance evaluations, and CMF matching processes
- Contribute to material research and next‑generation product development with a strong technical and innovative mindset
Your Background
- Degree or equivalent experience in Design, Design Engineering (materials focus), Material Engineering, or Quality Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or material supplier
(automotive, consumer electronics, metals, plastics, or coatings are a plus) - Strong understanding of production feasibility (metal, plastic, coatings, surface treatments, etc.)
- Experience in quality management, perceived quality, technical CMF mastering, or similar fields
- Proven experience in technical CMF delivery; a portfolio is a plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma is an advantage
- Strong problem‑solving, communication (visual, verbal, written), organizational, and prioritization skills
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, comfortable working cross‑functionally with design, engineering, suppliers, and quality teams
- Impeccable color vision
