We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistic Project Manager - Aftersales to join our Asset Management team. This role is crucial for defining and optimizing logistics flows for our service operations. 
You will be responsible for managing logistics projects, developing distribution networks, and ensuring efficient handling of spare parts globally.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Define and implement logistics flows for service operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all spare parts delivery processes: on-site delivery, warehouses replenishment, reverse logistics etc.
  • Analyze and optimize global distribution networks, ensuring consistent service levels across various regions (e.g., Europe, North America).
  • Optimize transportation management by developing various transport modes, focusing on cost optimization while ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Design and implement reverse logistics processes as a foundation for failure analysis and repair processes, including internal movements of returned parts.
  • Lead logistics projects from conception to execution, including the testing phase, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal logistics teams and external providers to standardize operational activities and align them with defined logistics strategies.
  • Optimize data exchange between various platforms to enable accurate KPI calculations and performance tracking. Monitor logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance service delivery
  • Follow up on IT developments related to logistics processes, ensuring that systems support operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to ensure alignment with market needs and customer expectations
  • Develop and maintain documentation for logistics processes and workflows

 

 

Your Background:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the aftersales or service sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading logistics projects.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools
  • Basic knowledge of the Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SalesForce is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude
