The Maintenance Engineer is the primary technical resource for maintenance technicians, supporting day-by-day resolution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities. This role plays a key part in minimizing critical production equipment down-time, ensuring high production standard.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager, providing metrics on performance (KPI), schedules on critical repairs, including Tools failures rate, with recommended corrective actions, as well as daily updates on critical equipment analyzing machines.
- Manage and update technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
- Oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines and/or facilities. Collaborate with the Engineering team to define maintenance plans for new production lines and consultations on ways to improve reliability, maintainability and safety of the above equipment.
- Plan and control of on-site/outside of calibration activities. Team up with Engineering / Testing team to define calibration requirements to reach quality standard. Including supplier scouting to support the above activities.
- Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption to the production process.
- Generate purchase requests for non-stocked parts and tools to support maintenance/calibration actives
- Propose continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational processes
- Implement health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives to ensure the safety of people and resources.
- Supervise Maintenance tool, including integration with manufacturing execution system (MES)
- Register and control Asset linked to production
Your Background:
- You have a Master Degree in Mechanical, Electric or Mechatronic Engineering
- Very solid background in Maintenance engineering is mandatory
- You are fluent in English and in Italian, both written and spoken
- Experience in cross functional teams, in international and multicultural work environment
- You have strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of CMMS
- Previous experience in Autocad is required
- Strong analytical skills complete the profile
