Your Responsibilities
- Act as the main interface between R&D and Operations to orchestrate structured technical feedback to global R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams during the New Products Introduction (NPI) phase
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional NPI activities between R&D and Operations to ensure seamless product industrialization
- Be directly involved in shopfloor-based product development, supporting and monitoring assembly and build activities across all NPI phases
- Recommend and implement improvement projects, applying lean principles and digital solutions to optimize NPI processes
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to enhance manufacturability, standardization, and achieve cost targets
- Assess alternative components and review technical solutions to address quality and sourcing challenges
- Validate Manufacturing BOM (from Engineering BOM), electrical schematics and mechanical drawings ensuring robust configuration management for both new and existing products
- Initiate and support change management activities on existing products, ensuring technical and documentation accuracy and completeness
Your Background
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Aerospace) or equivalent 4-5 years of experience in product development organizations
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams within multicultural environments
- Fluency in English and Italian, with strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving
- Experience in NPI and industrialization of complex products is a plus
- Knowledge of fast prototyping solutions (Additive manufacturing e.g. 3D printing) is a plus
