We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support our Category Manager in day-to-day procurement activities. This role plays a key part in managing operational tasks, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the smooth execution of procurement processes. Acting as a key link between Procurement, R&D, and Project Management, the ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to contribute to the efficiency and success of our supply chain operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the Category Manager in gathering quotations based on predefined requirements and R&D documentation
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards
  • Manage requests for quotation (RFQs): issue requests, follow up on status, summarize results, and support the awarding process
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and update procurement databases
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Project Management, Category Management) to clarify procurement needs and specifications
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues related to delays or quality concerns
  • Participate in supplier audits and compliance reviews as required
  • Support contract administration by coordinating documentation and approvals
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain support roles
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with procurement software and the MS Office suite
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel for business as needed
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
