We’re looking for a Remote Service Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and is excited to power the growing EV charging revolution.
In this role, your mission is to keep our customers’ charging infrastructure running flawlessly, ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for EV drivers around the world - and supporting the operation of one of the largest fast-charging networks globally. You’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with problem-solving creativity to make a real impact on the transition to sustainable transportation.
Your Responsibilities
- Keep the world charging: You’ll be at the heart of our global EV charging network — diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues
- Tackle complex challenges: Offer expert guidance on tough software, electrical or mechanical problems using data from our connected chargers
- Become the expert everyone turns to: Support customers and field engineers remotely, bringing your deep technical expertise to every challenge
- Empower our customers: Help operators run their charging sites and networks more efficiently through smart insights and proactive support
- Shape the future of e-mobility: Collaborate with our engineering, quality, and production teams to enhance our chargers, tools, and service offerings
- Share your knowledge: Deliver product, tools, and process training to service teams and partners—and create clear, impactful documentation and knowledge
Your Background
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent technical/vocational education in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or IT)
- 2–3 years of experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support/maintenance role, preferably within the EV or clean tech industry
- Strong technical foundation in electrical engineering and installations, with experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or system design
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and software tools - or the curiosity and drive to learn them quickly
- Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a passion for solving complex technical challenges
- Analytical mindset: able to diagnose and resolve issues using indirect data, logs, and system evidence
- Knowledge sharer: skilled at transferring expertise through trainings, webinars, or high-quality documentation
- Flexibility and commitment: willing to travel occasionally (up to 10%); the role requires operational flexibility, with availability to work in shifts, including Saturdays and public holidays, in compliance with current regulations and organizational needs
- Multilingual advantage: fluency in English is a must and knowledge of other languages is considered a plus
