Our engineering team is at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), the heart of our products. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact on our global manufacturing processes. If you are passionate about test system development, automation, and product excellence, we invite you to apply. As a Testing Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the development and implementation of automated manufacturing test systems. These systems are crucial for our production plants worldwide, guaranteeing that every PCBA we produce meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will be immersed in the latest technologies and collaborate with a diverse, global team of experts. This is more than just an engineering role; it's an opportunity to be a key player in the future of our technological innovation. If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding position, join us on our mission.

Your Responsibilities

This role is designed for an engineer who is not only a testing expert but also a strategic thinker, capable of influencing product design and elevating our testing practices. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and Automate Test Systems: Design, code, and implement robust and scalable test systems (both hardware and software) to validate PCBA assembly and functionality, minimizing manual intervention.
  • Contribute to Design for Testability (DFT): Work closely with design teams to embed testability into the core of our products, ensuring they are inherently easier and more efficient to test.
  • Foster Technical Excellence: Actively contribute to refining our testing methodologies and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Evolve Our Test Platform: Drive the definition, design, and implementation of our next-generation test platform, ensuring it is scalable, flexible, and robust enough to support our growing product portfolio.
  • Drive Quality Throughout the Product Lifecycle: Represent the Testing Engineering team throughout the entire product development process. From defining initial requirements to the final validation, you will be the voice of quality and testability.
  • Achieve and Exceed Quality Targets: Your ultimate goal is to ensure our manufacturing processes are highly efficient and effective. You will be instrumental in driving initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Your Background

We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical foundation and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Degree or high school diploma in electronic engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing test systems for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
  • In-depth competence in testing techniques such as In-Circuit Test (ICT), Boundary Scan (JTAG), and functional testing.
  • Solid experience with benchtop instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and low-level programming is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills at both the software and hardware levels.
  • A proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering.
  • A goal-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
  • A passion for teamwork and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with National Instruments software and hardware (LabVIEW, TestStand) is a strong plus.
