We're currently looking for a Tax Specialist to join our Team in Kraków, Poland, on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you'll ensure tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, support tax audits and process improvements, and contribute to the automation and optimization of accounting processes from a tax perspective. The ideal candidate combines strong tax expertise with a process-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.

This is a temporary role covering a period of absence.
 

In this role, you will be:

• ensuring VAT, income tax (CIT) and withholding tax (WHT) tax compliance and reporting 
• preparing tax returns filling in various jurisdictions in a timely manner 
• researching and correcting process errors that caused incorrect tax filings 
• supporting tax audits and ad-hoc matters 
• supporting automation and improvements of accounting / booking processes from the perspective of tax requirements 
• assisting in developing and implementing processes and procedures 
• supporting the management with financial aspects of project funding and risk assessment 
   

To make the above work, we are looking for:

• minimum 3 years of experience in Tax area (preparing international tax declarations)
• practical knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Oracle)
• good user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills (functions, pivot table)
• experience in the transfer of tax processes from European countries to global shared service centers
• knowledge of European tax law (direct and/ or indirect tax) combined with process orientation and attention to detail
• proficient in business English, advanced knowledge of another European language as an asset
• very good organization and coordination skills and ability to work in a team with deadlines and stress situations
